"Building Custom AI Tools for the K-12 Environment" is a comprehensive two-session workshop designed to empower educators with the knowledge and skills to create personalized AI tools that address specific educational challenges. With a special focus on MagicSchool's platform due to its EdLaw 2D compliance and K-12 optimization, participants will learn to leverage various AI platforms to enhance administrative efficiency and educational effectiveness.

By the end of these workshops, participants will be able to:

  • Identify opportunities for AI tool implementation in their educational context

  • Design and customize purpose-specific AI tools, with particular expertise in MagicSchool's platform

  • Implement best practices for prompt engineering across multiple AI platforms

  • Evaluate and refine AI tools for optimal performance in educational scenarios

  • Share and collaborate on AI tool development with peers
